We sum up our personal year with the second compilation dedicated to the label's two-years anniversary. Unlike the solo releases, Lorelei is a fruit of truly collective creation, which allowed us to reflect on our current state.

In compiling the tracks for it, just like last year, we focused on our own “all starts” cast. It includes NEOPLASM residents, some new faces, and musicians we’d like to show our respect to. As a result, the collection of 10 songs conveys the vector in which we are developing quite closely.

Another cool thing about the compilations is that they are like a little kaleidoscope, reflecting the fact that everyone in the group is different and our tastes and views on contemporary music are also diverse. There's a lot of sound design, and even micro house found its own place.

The last parallel that you can see immediately, even if you haven't heard the release yet: Lorelei is one big reference to the electronic music of the noughties, as even the cover itself hints at.

Подводим итоги года второй компиляцией, приуроченной к двухлетию лейбла. В отличие от сольных релизов, Lorelei — это результат по-настоящему коллективного творчества, который позволил отрефлексировать наше текущее состояние.

Собирая для неё треки, мы ориентировались на собственный all starts состав: в него вошли резиденты NEOPLASM, новые лица и те музыканты, которым мы таким образом выражаем наше уважение. В итоге, сборник из 10 композиций довольно точно передаёт вектор, в сторону которого мы развиваемся.

Ещё одно классное свойство компиляций — она, как маленький калейдоскопчик, отражает тот факт, что все участники коллектива — разные и наши вкусы и взгляды на современную музыку тоже неоднородны. Здесь много саунд дизайна, и даже для микрохауса нашлось своё место.

Последняя параллель, которую видно сразу, даже если вы ещё не услышали сам релиз: Lorelei — это одна большая отсылка к электронике нулевых, о чём намекает даже сама обложка.
